The Story of Our Sangat
From a few devoted families gathering in reverence to a flourishing spiritual haven in Sector 82A, New Gurugram — guided by grace, unity, and selfless service.
A Sacred Need in New Gurugram
As residential townships in New Gurugram grew rapidly around Sector 82A (near the DLF Primus and Vatika corridors), local Sikh families found themselves seeking a spiritual home — a quiet sanctuary to perform daily Nitnem, celebrate Gurpurabs with their children, and serve hot meals to travelers and working laborers.
Foundational Dedication
On 15 January 2023, this collective longing took tangible form. The establishment of the Gurudwara was anchored by the devotion of Tejinder Singh Gill, whose lifelong aspiration was to create a permanent house of prayer for the community. His pivotal land contribution provided the ground upon which the Gurudwara stands today.
Spiritual leadership and religious Maryada were guided by Harpreet Singh Sandhu Baba Ji, who rallied local volunteers, coordinated the Langar kitchen, and ensured that the sacred protocols of the Darbar Sahib were maintained with purity and dignity.

— Guru Gobind Singh JiCommunity Seva & The Digital Sanctuary
Local resident sevadars worked selflessly to level the land, erect the main Diwan Hall, and organize daily hot Langar. To ensure that Sangat members living across Gurugram, the NCR, and abroad could stay connected, Aarsh Singh Gill (son of Tejinder Singh Gill) initiated and designed the official digital platform.
The Vision Ahead
Today, Gurudwara Kalgidhar Singh Sabha welcomes hundreds of families weekly. With grace, the Sangat is embarking on its next chapter: constructing permanent multi-storey facilities including an expanded Diwan Hall, commercial-standard Langar kitchen, Gurmukhi & Santhiya educational classrooms, and a free community dental clinic.
Milestones of the Sangat
A Humble Seed Planted
The journey began on 15 January 2023 when devoted families in Sector 82A came together. Supported by Tejinder Singh Gill's foundational land commitment, the Sangat established the first prayer hall and sanctuary.
The Sangat Blossoms
Under the spiritual guidance of Harpreet Singh Sandhu Baba Ji and selfless local volunteers, weekly gatherings quickly grew into daily Nitnem, weekend Diwans, and hot community Langar.
A Living Community Sanctuary
Gurudwara Kalgidhar Singh Sabha now welcomes hundreds of families and seekers every week, serving as an oasis of spiritual peace and unconditional hospitality in New Gurugram.
Building an Enduring Legacy
With collective grace, the Gurudwara is expanding to build permanent, universally accessible facilities to house a grand Diwan Hall, modern kitchen, educational classrooms, and a community dental clinic.
