The Chronicle of Our Sangat

On 15 January 2023, devoted families residing in C-Block, Sector 82A, New Gurugram (located directly behind DLF Primus), came together with a sacred shared longing: to establish a reverent sanctuary of prayer, spiritual contemplation, and continuous community seva for the rapidly expanding neighborhoods of New Gurugram.

What began as quiet weekly Simran gatherings on an open plot of ground quickly grew into an oasis of warmth, daily Nitnem recitations, and the eternal hearth of Guru Ka Langar, welcoming every soul with unconditional embrace.

The journey began on 15 January 2023 when devoted families in Sector 82A came together. Supported by Tejinder Singh Gill's foundational land commitment, the Sangat established the first prayer hall and sanctuary.

Under the spiritual guidance of Harpreet Singh Sandhu Baba Ji and selfless local volunteers, weekly gatherings quickly grew into daily Nitnem, weekend Diwans, and hot community Langar.

Instituted over five centuries ago by Guru Nanak Dev Ji and sustained with legendary maternal tenderness by Mata Khivi Ji, Langar is Sikhi's radical assertion of universal equality.

Here in Sector 82A, the community kitchen fires are kindled from early morning to night. When you sit in Pangat (the sacred row upon the floor), all societal barriers dissolve. Executive, laborer, elder, seeker, and child are served the exact same sanctified, nourishing meal with humble love.

As our Sangat grows in Sector 82A, we are undertaking a dedicated capital project to construct enduring, universally accessible facilities: an expanded main Diwan Hall, a modern hygienic kitchen, heritage classrooms, a free community dental clinic, and barrier-free elderly ramps.
